Things to do with kids in Myrtle Beach: Island Vista Kids Club!
Looking for things to do with kids in Myrtle Beach that won’t break the bank? Check out the Island Vista Kids Club! Monday and Wednesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., there are fun activities kids younger than 12 can participate in. Kids club activities are free to guests who rent through Island Vista Resort, with the exception of occasional activities with supplies, such as a $10 fee for the T-shirt for a tie-dye activity.
“Kids love it,” said Brittany Knecht, front office manager at Island Vista Resort. “Parents can hang out with their little ones, and if the kids are a little older, parents sometimes just stay nearby at the pool.”
Some of the regular kids club activities include: shark tooth or seashell search on the beach, hula hoop and limbo contest, sand castle competition, shell painting, arts and crafts extravaganza, splashtastic pool games, beach baseball, face painting and balloon animals, beach soccer, beach Olympics, beach kickball and hair wraps.
The Kids Club at Island Vista Resort is drop in for any activity, and the activity schedule is available at the front desk. In order to participate, simply pick up a bracelet from the front desk staff then find the Kids Club staff in the blue T-shirts.
