Glass and alcohol is not permitted.
Stay off the dunes and sea oats.
Personal items must be removed from the beach overnight. Items left are confiscated and in some cases owners are issued fines.

Safety First:

Lifeguards will return to the beach Memorial Weekend - Labor Day.
North Myrtle Beach has a Beach Wristband program for children. It's helpful in locating lost children especially during crowded seasons.
Always swim within 50 yards of the shore and never over shoulder height.
Pay attention to lifeguards warning flags. Each has a different meaning and could indicate dangerous rip currents.
