A Myrtle Beach Dining Alternative: The Fresh Market

If you’re in Myrtle Beach for any amount of time you quickly realize the dining options are just about endless. There are so many choices—and sometimes it seems like there’s no possible way to get everyone to agree one place for every snack and meal.

The Cypress Room at Island Vista is a do-not-miss. The food is impressive and the view is to die for, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the ocean! If you get the chance have breakfast, but you should also try the She Crab soup at dinner.

When you’re ready to branch out from the dining scene and perhaps do some cooking in your suite, that’s when Myrtle Beach’s many markets come into play. One of our favorite vacation tips: spend more time on the beach or by the pool by picking something from a grocery store’s pre-made offerings.

And there’s a new option in town, with The Fresh Market being added as Myrtle Beach’s newest grocer. It’s only been open for a few months and it’s quickly becoming the locals’ go-to for the freshest meats, seafood, produce and more. In addition to the pre-made offerings, customers can also purchase outstanding produce, meats cheeses—and the wine offerings are especially impressive. From wine to lobster tails, The Fresh Market’s selection of gourmet foods is enough to make you consider cooking on vacation!

With a variety of freshly prepared meats, sides and deli sandwiches you can have a made-to-order meal on-site. The Fresh Market also prepares sushi on site and has 3 bar offerings, a salad bar with soups, an olive bar and a seafood salad bar.

Need poolside snacks? The Fresh Market features a large selection of bulk specialty candies, nuts and snack mixes. The Fresh Market has a selection of coffees and teas worthy of sipping on balconies while watching the sunrise. While you are there check out the area where you can make your own almond butter.

Planning to dine in, but not sure what to cook? Check out their tips & recipes. The Fresh Market runs weekly specials with additional specials on Tuesday and weekends. A stop by The Fresh Market is well worth the trip, you won’t be disappointed! The Fresh Market is located at 7747 North Kings Hwy Myrtle Beach, SC 29572 and open Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-9 p.m. and, Sunday 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
