Why Golf is the Greatest Sport on Earth
Golf is arguably the greatest sport
on earth. Although it has been around for a long time, it is currently
the fastest growing sport in popularity. It is no longer considered
to be a game only played by old men with questionable fashion choices.
Men and women of all ages are picking up golf at a remarkable rate.
So why is golf
so appealing? Golf does not discriminate. It is a very easy game to
learn, but it is also very hard to get good at. You can swing a golf
club all day hitting millions of balls, and still not get any better
at it. The reason is that the game is based off of technique.
You can take a man with huge muscles and a small woman with a fraction
of the muscle, and the woman will drive the ball further and faster
than the man if she has more technique. Massive amounts of muscle
are no real help when it comes to hitting the ball well. That is great
news for everyone because it means that absolutely anyone who wants
to excel in golf can do so regardless of gender, size or strength.
The key to getting the ball where you want it to go is learning how
the clubs work.
Learn the ins and outs of golf
and you will not only get better at it, but you will have more fun
as well. Golf instruction is a great way to improve your game. A person
that is skilled in identifying a bad swing can do wonders for your
game. Most people don’t realize that they are swinging wrong
until an outsider points it out to them.
After learning the general basics of golf,
many people choose to go on golfing
vacations. Myrtle Beach, the “Golf Mecca” of the world,
offers over 100 courses designed by professional golfers and renowned
golf course designers. What better way to improve your game than by
golfing everyday for a week? Golf pros are always on hand to offer
instruction as well.
