Quicksilver/Roxy Surf Camps

Presented by Island Vista and Myrtle Beach Surf Camps

The Quicksilver/Roxy surf camps are premier surf camps for young and young at heart surfers of all abilities ages 8 to 80. The goal is to provide a safe and fun atmosphere where your child can be introduced to various activities with plenty of positive reinforcement. Mark Allison and his staff at the MB Surf Camp have been teaching surfing and ocean safety for over 20 years. All instructors are American Red Cross Lifeguard certified and CPR certified.

The camps are held on the beach at 67th Avenue North, just a few blocks north of the Island Vista in the designated surfing area. A day at camp begins with lessons in ocean knowledge and safety. Campers will warm up with some early morning stretches, followed by education and practice of surfing techniques. Then it is time to hit the water for the wonderful experience of surfing! Camps are Tuesday-Thursday from 9:00a.m.- noon Cost $180.00

Camps include instruction, use of equipment, drinks, snacks, and Quicksilver/Roxy goodie bags with tee shirts and other accessories.

Private lessons (starting at 40.00 per hour) and group lessons are also available. Please call for information.

Advance booking is recommended as the Camps are popular with locals as well and some dates will fill early. It is possible to book at the last minute, however, if space is available.
